
Landon Tarvin, president of UFP Retail Solutions, has announced that Ryan Kemp has been named executive vice president of . Kemp鈥檚 new role went into effect on December 29, 2024.
鈥淩yan Kemp has been an invaluable asset to UFP for more than two decades,鈥 said Tarvin UFP Retail Solutions president, of Kemp鈥檚 promotion. 鈥淗is extensive experience in retail, strong leadership skills, and stable management style make him the perfect fit to lead the growing Deckorators brand.鈥
With over 20 years in the building and lumber industry, Kemp joined UFP in 2001 as an account manager in Windsor, Colorado. He moved to Woodburn, Oregon, where he continued his advancement into new roles, including sales manager in 2013, operations manager in 2014, GMO in 2015, and vice president of operations in 2018. In 2019, Kemp was named vice president of ProWood and, in 2021, was promoted to executive vice president, where he established himself as a skilled executive, able to deliver customer and stakeholder value in tough economic environments.
鈥淲e鈥檙e committed to pushing boundaries with new solutions while strengthening our existing product mix,鈥 Kemp said. 鈥淒eckorators is investing $250 million over the next five years in these efforts.鈥
Kemp recently returned from the NAHB International Builders Show in Las Vegas, where听its new product offerings.
