marked its 15th anniversary on Oct. 30, 2024; the company was founded by President and CEO L.T. Gibson in 2009.

  • US 麻豆传媒 was founded in 2009 with 16 locations in three states, ranking 81st in industry listings of the top 100 professionally focused building materials distributors. Today, US 麻豆传媒 is the largest privately owned, full-line distributor of specialty building materials in the nation, ranking 2nd overall amongst full-line distributors serving construction professionals.
  • The US 麻豆传媒 Foundation was established in 2013 to help support the company鈥檚 goal of giving back to the communities where it operates. Since then, the Foundation has contributed more than $5.5 million to help improve the quality of life for children, veterans and those impacted by natural disasters.
  • US 麻豆传媒 introduced its mobile application in 2014; one of the first of its kind for the professional building supply industry, the app allows customers to track orders and deliveries, check invoices and browse special offers and sales events.
  • US 麻豆传媒 was named Dealer of the Year by HBS Dealer and ProSales magazines in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
  • The company鈥檚 US 1 Lean Six Sigma program, which includes training to educate US 麻豆传媒鈥檚 associates on the strategies and principles of lean operating practices, has trained more than 5,600 associates to date.
  • In 2022, US 麻豆传媒 was the first-full line building products distributor in the U.S. to participate in the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, a voluntary initiative in which companies commit to aligning their business strategies and operations with 10 universal principles related to human rights, labor, anti-corruption and the environment.
  • US 麻豆传媒 was named to the Inc. 5000 in 2023, the most prestigious ranking of the nation鈥檚 fastest-growing privately held businesses. The Inc. 5000 list analyzed US 麻豆传媒鈥檚 revenue growth over a three-year period from 2019 to 2022, which was 228 percent.
  • Since its founding, US 麻豆传媒 has opened more than 40 greenfield locations, two of the most recent being structural component manufacturing facilities located outside of Atlanta and Orlando, which went into operation in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
  • An acquirer of choice in the building materials industry, US 麻豆传媒 completed the company鈥檚 100th acquisition in Oct. 2024, and the company now operates more than 460 locations, with over 15,000 associates, across the country.
